Good job, Harper. You're able to find a gun strewn across the rooftop, a number of feet away from the body. You're able to place the number down and give the gun a proper home in a bag. You also see a number of shell casings and are able to secure those too. There's also a video camera that was close to where the victim fell.

Sargent Bastian is watching your work from afar and he dare not ruin your grove since you're doing so well. When there is nothing else in plain sight that can be found he'll speak, "Alright. Now for some finer details and the less obvious stuff. Hair maybe. Footprints?"

Harper was on the case. Taking out those plastic number cards, the young werewolf started looking around the area. A gun had been left behind. Placing a number 1 there, Harper put her gloves on and picked the gun up to put it in a bag for the forensic team to go over in hopes of finding a suitable ID on this killer. Spotting the shell casings, Harper placed a second number down upon the ground and took a picture, as she did with the gun before picking it up, of the shell casings and where they were lying. With quick hands, she picked the casings up and placed them in a different bag. She pointed out the security camera, taking a picture of that just in case it was over looked somehow. "We'll have to go get the video recordings for up here." she said as she pointed to the thing, looking at her current partner.

He praised her, slightly. If her tail could be seen, it would be wagging right now. Yes. She was being helpful~ All that training was paying off...at least finding the easier stuff. Now the real problem: finding something useful to ID the person. Doing as she was instructed, Harper glanced around again, hoping to find something useful in order to get this job done.

'Proficient' :

Harper is able to successfully find enough DNA lying around to hopefully ID the perpetrator. Sargent Bastian is more than impressed at this point and is giving you the greatest flattery by joining in the investigator's coffee break and turning his back to you, trusting that you are competent to complete the task. With no prying eyes on you, your task is complete and even the investigators look to you, satisfied with the completion of your work. "Hey, I guess we can do our jobs now. Thanks for the assist Officer..." The one guy sips casually and looks at your nametag. "Fairfax. Yeah, thanks. Keep up the good work, kid."

Sargent Bastian will guide you away from the investigators as they begin going over the evidence. He places a sheet in your hand. "I filled out a report of what you found for you. Just hand it off to the Lieutenant and we should be good to go from here." When your uncle is mentioned and you look to him, he's still over at the police line, talking to a new individual now. In fact, he's having a bit of trouble with him, as he seems to be a concerned friend or family member of the victim and will not leave. The individual does not seem violent, but his look is rather cold and not responsive to JT's gentle suggestions to leave.

On one hand, this was pretty easy~ The person who had gone and done this killer had left a lot of clues. Pictures, bagging, and marking had all been done with to the best of her abilities. And it would seem the rest of her fellow officers had thought she had done a good job as well. Upon returning to Sargent Bastian, he had praised her and filled out the paperwork she needed to fill out. It was flattering to know that he thought she was competent enough to actually do her job. Anyone else would have let her do the dirty work and fill out the paperwork. But not this guy. Ah...was a guy."Thanks. I'll deliver it to him right now."

Taking the paperwork, she walked up to her uncle: the Lieutenant. It seemed he was having a hard time with this person. A cold stare was given to her uncle who, she knew, was not the best at saying to go away. That would be either her mother or her Aunt Chandler. Yeah....Aunt Chandler, as everyone knew, wore the pants in the relationship. Uncle JT just couldn't be mean if he wasn't mad. He was a gentle soul. She loved him for it and she hoped that she could help him out then. Walking up, Harper handed him the papers and reported in. "We have finished with the crime scene right now, sir. we've bagged and tagged everything we could find and the investigators are taking it from here." Glancing over at the friend and or family member, Harper gave that man an apologetic smile. "Sir. We are so sorry for your loss. However, we are now working on the case. Once we know more, you will hear from us promptly. But for now, please return to your home and get something to drink or eat. We'll finish up here shortly."

She hoped that she could persuade him in leaving the area. There wasn't much for him to see here. If this man was a family member, he had a long night ahead of him. She could only imagine the amount of phone calls he was going to have to be making.

Lieutenant JT grabbed the report from you and nodded with acknowledgement and thanks. He was about to open his mouth, but you did some talking and he listened. He couldn't of said it better himself, but that's the problem. You're both pushovers and this guy thinks he can walk all over you. Actually, for some reason this guy actually wants to throttle you. You can see it in his eyes, but the second he moves is the very moment JT puts his strong arm between you both and pushes you back. "I'll handle it from here, officer Fairfax. You just get home safe, alright?" Your mother would probably kill him if you got beat up on the job on his watch.

You know currently that Sargent Bastian is waiting down the flight of stairs, in the car to take you guys back to the station.

It was at that moment her life flashed before her eyes. No. Her Uncle's life flashed before her eyes. As she saw the guy come forward, all she could think about was how her mother was going to strangle Uncle JT for not keeping her safe. Not that her mother thought she couldn't handle herself....just that Harper was a much more gentle creature. Much like her uncle. However, there was nothing to worry about as in fact, her uncle stepped between the confrontation and stopped any more blood to be shed upon this day. The guy got lucky. Glancing at her uncle, she nodded. "Yes. Right. Thank you, Lieutenant Valentine." What else was there to say? Not much really. So with that, Harper started down the 15 flight of stairs and went over to Sargent Bastian. She gave him an almost half assed smile, as she was still recovering from that attempt on everyone's life just now, but decided it was best not to dwell on the fact. "Well, was the coffee good? Lieutenant Valentine has the paperwork and we're all ready to go. Thank you for being patient with me."

You meet with Sargent Bastian by the cruiser and he sees your frazzled look. He pays it no real mind though but he will ask you, "You alright?" He wont dwell on it too much though. It's your first day on the job and all and you will have plenty of time to see many more horrific sights. "You did good today, Fairfax." He'll figure encouragement will make you feel better than talking about your feelings. Bastian will open the passenger door for you so that you can get settled in for the ride while he goes to the driver's side and starts the car up. "Let's get to the station so we can call it a wrap for tonight. I'll see you tomorrow morning then, bright eyed and bushy tailed."

And you made it out alive, Harper. This concludes your 1st level mission. I will give you your payment of $100 for the mission and you are now qualified to request a bump up to level 1! Congrats!
