CHARACTER BASICS

Something always seems to hide behind her dark eyes, though it's rare for anyone to understand what it is. Her figure is a slender hourglass that she emphasizes with her attire. At 145 lbs, she is lean and more durable than her soft appearance implies. Her wardrobe includes a variety of outfits, from formal gowns to casual denim. She is usually sporting a fitted tank top, dark washed jeans, and a black leather jacket. Her raven hair cascades down her neck in thick waves, curling around her shoulders and almost disappearing into her jacket. Though she is of an average height of 5'6", she always seems like she's at least an inch taller. Every move she makes is calculated, determined, and confident. Her skin is lightly tanned, a soft color that she ensures she maintains. Her full lips are usually curled upwards in a seductive smirk and her voice can either sweep a target into her arms or tower above them in a rare rage few have survived.
Her demon form is far less attractive. She doesn't spend much time in this form, as her human one is easier to disguise when necessary. Her brown eyes have a reddish hue and are classified more as a mahogany shade rather than the hickory of her human irises. Her skin darkens to amber and, though small, her horns are difficult to cover as they sit at the hairline of her forehead. Instead of wings, she has a long, thin tail she is not fond of. While it is a convenient, built in whip, there have been occasions where it was more annoying than beneficial, like the time she broke one of her mother's more expensive vases. Racial Detail: Lynn is self-made Fury to an extent. She is known as a demon of vengeance, trained to annihilate those who threaten or harm others, especially her family. As she is skilled in deception - a necessary talent in her line of work - she is also extremely perceptive and is usually able to identify those who are trying to deceive her. Some have commented that she appears to have true sight, but she doesn't really care what it's called, as long as it works and assists in her missions.Personality: Lynn has unwavering loyalty to her father, Travis. She aims to be his right hand and inherit the family one day. With this ambition, she questions nothing he asks of her and performs every task as perfectly as possible. She is cold and calculating with confidence that borders on arrogance at times.
The relationship between her and her fraternal twin, Christina, is that of respectful competition. Lynn is just a few minutes younger than Christina, which she feels she must make up for when striving for the status she desires. The two can often be heard making bets on who can accomplish missions first and rarely say kind words to each other. Despite the outward hostility the two show, Lynn knows her sister would have her back if she needed it and vice versa. A lot of pride would need to be swallowed for either to ask, and the jeers afterwards would likely be unbearable and infuriating.
Lynn's specialty is that of a Black Widow assassin and she thoroughly enjoys hunting her targets. She prides herself on her ability to mold herself into a person who can easily lure a target into seclusion, male or female. The kill itself doesn't matter much to her, but she finds the adrenaline rush from the chase exhilarating. Often the kill occurs in the bedroom, but before any "intimacy" can occur since most of her targets are male. On the rare occasion she is tasked with eliminating a woman, the assassination is usually put off until the "fun" has been had.
Though Lynn doesn't necessarily hide her orientation, she doesn't advertise it either. She has only had romantic interest in one woman, though never admitted it or committed to anyone. When she identified her interest in her friend (see background), it terrified her. She didn't know what to do with what she felt and, therefore, shut it down within herself. Though she suspected her friend cared for her too, it was never discussed and Lynn distanced herself.
She tries very hard to be cold at all times and have limited emotions, but if she were to allow herself to, she would likely find that there was a well of feelings just below the surface. At the moment, she feels as though there are far more important things than emotions and thus suppresses them with skill. It could be argued that emotions are her greatest fear. Anger is even suppressed with relative ease. She uses anger as fuel for future tasks and holds a calm, calculated grudge for a very long time.History: Lynn was born to Travis and Elena a few minutes after her fraternal twin, Christina. Her childhood was spent competing with her twin and vying for the pride of her father. From a young age, Lynn studied people, especially her siblings. She sought to combine their strengths within herself, ensuring she was the most valuable. Because Travis valued loyalty and honesty (granted, mostly from others to him), Lynn did as well. She and her father never really had a stronger bond than he had with her other siblings, but that only fuels her desire to create it.
Over the years, Lynn learned to combine Christina's deadliness and Robin's art of seduction. While still a teenager, she practiced often. She studied with knives, guns, and martial arts, specifically krav maga, though her preference has always been knives. She never killed unless her father instructed her to, but would do her own research on people and weave her way into their lives in her own time. Sometimes it was for information, but others it was just for fun and to enhance her skill.
When she was fifteen, a girl of the same age caught her eye at a bus stop. Though she wasn't sure what was important about this stranger, Lynn felt a strong desire to learn about her. Upon doing her research, she learned that the girl's name was Rosalie Romano. She lived with her single mother, Adeline, and younger brother, Logan. The family had been strapped for cash since their father vanished a year earlier. Lynn hadn't been able to find any information on what had happened to him.
Though unsure why she wanted to, Lynn strategically inserted herself into Rosalie's life and the two quickly became best friends. She told herself the intention was to see if she could infiltrate the life of someone from such a different lifestyle, but it quickly became clear she was actually enjoying Rosalie's company. For a little over a year, Lynn continued to associate with Rosalie, convincing herself that the difference in adrenaline rush was due to being with her only friend. Eventually though, Lynn could no longer deny that she had fallen for her friend. Upon this realization, she forced herself to fade out of Rosalie's life quickly. Her relationship with Rosalie had never been discussed with her family, though it was never kept a secret either. The next two months proved to Lynn that she could not afford emotional attachments to anyone outside her family, as leaving Rosalie behind devastated her.
She picked herself off the floor and forced herself to harden her heart and demeanor. She stopped doing her own research and only did what her father asked of her. She trained hard and studied anything he instructed with dedication. Every now and then, her mind would wander to Rosalie, wondering what became of her. Even today, this occurs at times, but Lynn is quick to snap herself back to reality. Rosalie has never been discussed with anyone and remains just a memory of Lynn's.
Over the years, rumors have begun to fly about a Black Widow assassin, but Lynn became adept at disguising herself just enough and so far, none have been able to accurately link her to the Black Widow.
