A New Home

Everything was loud. It was drastically different from where she had been. Her green eyes tracked anything that moved. Though, it was hard to track it all as everything moved, that didn't stop her from trying. With Biran holding her hand and firmly held her in place, he said something about food. She didn't realize how hungry she was until that moment. Nodding, she followed the man who showed her around.

He had taken her to a place that sold strange foods. Whatever this gyro was, it smelled good. Or maybe that was something else. Whatever was coming from that, she wanted it. Biran had produced four sticks with meat on it. Her mouth watered as she was handed two of them. Without complaint, she popped a squat next to him upon the ground. Her bare bum rested upon the cement with her long rusted tail wrapping around under her legs. As she ate, it lightly thumped up and down.

The food was delicious. Something she never had before. It was cooked. If you had asked her the last time she had cooked food she wouldn't be able to tell you. The years in that cage warped her perspective. What was only just under two decades felt like three life times to her. However, that was in the past and this was now. With haste, she ate what she had been given. In fear of it being taken away and from the joy of enjoying it. Her emerald eyes scanned back and forth to the people giving her and Biran dirty looks. After about the 20th one, the wolf could not help but let out a growl from behind her stick with meat. It was a warning to back off. It was her meat. Not that she knew they wanted nothing to do with her food.

Once she was done, she held the sticks close to her and waited for Biran to finish. Saddie returned her attention back to the people passing by. As well as everything else. Though, curiosity soon got the better of her. Standing up, she started to creap down the sidewalk to a store front. A strange creature without a face was in the window wearing funny items. Looking out to the world again, everyone walking seemed to have funny garments. All different styles. Looking down at her shirt, she wondered if she was fitting in or not. It sucked not knowing anything.
