‘Love.’ Another nickname she never really liked, but it was one she’d let slide with a warm smile as he agreed to send her an invitation. She really would enjoy it more than she wanted to admit. Most of the time, she didn’t like the police force, aside from one or two of the members, but it was fine, she’d get over it in order to cheer them on, as she was sure the other girls would agree. They could even have a sort of competition between themselves as well and split into two teams and coordinate cheer routines for each team. Ah, but she was getting too caught up in something that may or may not come to fruition. “Obviously~ Considering any man worth his grain of salt would accept a challenge as soon as it was issued.” The dog said with another laugh as she continued to eat her meal as well, surprisingly polite despite the fact that she was gobbling down a rather large amount of meat.
Her ears perked as she listened intently to him, another bright smile on her lips, even lighting up her crimson eyes to sparkle with excitement. Strangely enough, Rune loved that she could open people’s eyes to things they normally wouldn’t be able to see otherwise. Sex, adventure, love of life, dance, theatre… Most of the people she surrounded herself with rarely had any of that and she found that igniting people’s hearts was far more gratifying than anything else she accomplished in her life. Watching them spark back to life… It was an enlightening moment that was a blessing to share with people.
She was getting distracted again. ”Good~ I’m very happy that you are enjoying it. You seem like the kind of person that can really enjoy the storyline.” Not that she really knew why she would think that kind of thing, but with his outward appearance, it just seemed… Oddly fitting when she’d met him.
Her gaze flickered over to him toying with his potatoes before he reached for the last escargot. Was he perhaps still hungry? Or was he just craving something a bit more filling? Chewy and warm and tender? Rune chuckled softly and pushed one of the plates toward him before extending her hand in a giving gesture before she continued to eat her own steak in front of her. ”I always enjoy the show. But the company tonight is rather intriguing and I find my interest piqued by something other than the show… And strangely not in the way it usually is.” Her grin turned more suggestive than before. ”Mmm~ But intermission is almost up. Help me finish this in time, yeah? I could, but it would be far too rude of me to simply shove all this meat in my mouth at the dinner table.” She laughed softly at her perverted joke as she took another bite with revelry. She’d be nice for now when it came to sharing. After all, sharing was caring, right?
