Many years ago, Twin City had been formed in a remote place somewhere in the world. Creatures of all kinds came to live within the territory of this city, though, not as smoothly as many had hoped. While the idea was sound, the execution was not. Territories had been drawn over the dirt of the city, banning certain kinds of creatures from entering areas all together. This had continued for many centuries until a breaking point had been reached. Members of the different territories of Twin City had come together with a common idea in mind: Integrating everyone together. This had taken everyone another long while before finally some sort of intermingling had commenced. Though, that was only the start of so many woes.

Years started to pass since the start of the integration when a new problem had arisen: Conflict between races. The answer to that was simple. Add a police force to the city. The first members of TCPD consisted of mainly just Angels with speckles of other races here and there. Shouts of racism were heard throughout the streets, saying that it was unjust to allow so many Angels to roam the streets and "beating down all the lesser beings". While action was called forth, it was slow moving as people from other races were not quick to jump forth at the opportunity. An incentive had been placed to the council who ruled over the city in order to entice more people to join. Slowly, more and more other beings had joined up, collecting on that incentive until enough quotas had been filled to remove said enticement.

A stir had started to build as everyone felt uneasy from the fact so many people were "ruling" over them. A change was made to the modern day system we have today. Every ten years, unless death occurs, a new vote will commence to elect one person to govern over the city as a whole. He or she would be given title of Mayor and be allowed to rule over the town, passing laws as they saw fit. Anyone is allowed to run for the title as well as hold the title for as long as they get enough votes. This had appeased everyone, allowing a fair contender to get it by way of popular votes; though some were still upset over it as a whole. As of today, only slight revisions have been made to it; such as the length of term. Instead of the initial ten, it had been cut down to five.

Vampires had always had a bit of an issue with the food source since even before the creation of Twin City. The issue is still up for debate here in the modern day Twin City. When the vampires came to colonize their section of town, they had dragged with them a whole herd of human prey. Humans have been their man food dish and they had no desire to switch to any other. That and humans who proved themselves worthy could easily be turned from their 'flock'. About 500 years ago, a group of humans had escaped with the help of outsiders. This had caused a big uproar in the human world as an area wide vampire hunt had ensued.

The Mayor at the time, An Angel named Angilio DiCecilio, feared that this backlash would cause enough of an up-stir to allow mass human numbers to enter their streets and bring the death of so many innocent people. He had placed a ban on human trafficking as both blood slaves and other. This had a large backlash from everyone. In place of humans, animals had been taken into the city to be used as blood sacrifices for the vampires. While some vampires accepted this change of diet, many refused. This was when the underground Black Market really got their big start off point. Humans in mass quantities were brought in from all over the world. Many were those of people who would not be missed: Orphans, homeless people, and people who lived out in the wild. They were all lined up like lambs for the slaughter. And sadly, many were killed and drained so their life source could be stored with the animal blood.

The TCPD heard wind of this rather quickly, but had a hard time cracking down on all the little stalls that sold humans as food. Eventually a new mayor had been elected that took the ban off after ten years of this farce. Once the ban was lifted, strict rules had been put forward. Each Vampire had to register each human that belonged in their care. To ensure healthy humans, a minimum of five humans had been issued for a flock. If at any point a human wished to leave the service of their master, they could easily be free of their bonds. Though, many of the flock members refrained from that since they, at the time, had no where to work as they had a brand mark placed on their upper right arm.

More recently, even that had vanished. All flocks had quickly become privatized and only allowed to wealthy vampire families. In the underground there is a club called Sinful Temple. In this club, you have what is refereed to "free Feedings". Willing people (Human, Orc, Elf, Demon, whatever) walk into the red lighted club. If they don't get picked up before hand, they can enter a lone room and wait for a guest to come and feed off of them. It is free to anyone who has access to the underground, though it is encouraged to leave a donation of some kind to keep it running. Though, in some of the rooms, people who have been sold through the very illegal system have been known to be used as chained feeding stations in the club. They are chained to a room and live the rest of their lives in somewhat comfort. A healthy feeding station makes for a happy customer.

Though, there has been talk that the TCPD are trying to crack down on that. While they cannot stop a willing person from entering there, they are at least attempting to keep the trafficking to a minimum if not completely gone.

About 300 years ago, a man by the name of Zadicus Saxon had decided that Werewolves were the worst things in this city. Since Werewolves only show their true forms when agitated or during a full moon, they can easily blend in as any and every race. Anyone in Twin City could be a Werewolf and no one would be any wiser. Saxon was not about that, and vowed to change it. He had run for the title of Mayor and won it with staggering votes that some say were rigged in the first place. His charismatic outlook had been used to its fullest. Using different scare tactics, he had managed to get the majority of the Twin City population to agree with him that Werewolves needed to be controlled and watched.

Every Werewolf had been rounded up and had to register with town hall. Simply saying they they could have the potential to turn others into them as well was all that was needed for civilians to fear for the safety of their children and follow suit. Over time, their civil rights slowly started to dwindle. At first, they were not allowed out of the City Limits. That quickly turned into them having a curfew of 10pm. Saxon was still not satisfied with the treatment as he still could not figure out who they were in your everyday life. Werewolves had been systematically taken  in and instructed to wear a heavy gold chain around their necks for everyone to see. It was illegal to hide them. A few years passed and the next step had been taken against them. Every Werewolf who had been collared was ripped from their homes and placed in a special district. It did not mater what age the werewolf was, as there were children who were as young as six being yanked from their families. This had turned into a prison cell for them. If they wanted a job, they were limited to hard labor jobs no one else wanted to take. Children were taught in school houses in that district and away from everyone else. Saxon had eventually made being a Werewolf a crime, even putting those to death if they left the district for any reason other than to work. However, even then, he would turn a blind eye away if the body of a werewolf had been found dead around the city.

This lasted until about a 100 years go with tension rising with every moment. Enough was enough. A man by the name of Travis Valentine had entered the town with his  wife, kids, and a few grandchildren. Many of them had been born a werewolf, or turned, like his wife, and was quickly told demands of how their lives was going to be from here on out. Travis was enraged and smuggled his family out of the prison camp Saxon had made. It was thanks to Travis and his efforts that allowed the Werewolves to have their rebellion and be free of their jail. As for Saxon, he was stripped of his power and later found dead in the very same streets the camps were. It was also thanks to Saxon that the Mayor Title was shortened from 10 years to 5.

The current mayor, Mayor Strider/Whatever Moody Picks, had taken Saxon's place from there. He had rewritten the laws put in place against the Werewolves. While they still had to be registered at Town Hall, a better description was given of what they looked like so as a proper ID on them could be given to the TCPD. Strider/Moody had also demanded safe house be built all over Twin City so that if werewolves did not feel comfortable roaming the woods at night, they had a place that could cage them. He also gave initial funding to Werewolf families so that they could add a room to their home to allow for either a silver cage or a basement that would allow them to roam around.

Only 200 years ago, more humans have been entering the city. Though still very much a minority, the sudden rise of humans was a bit of a shock for the supernatural beings already living there. A few beings had though it had to do with the vampires allowing their humans to be turned loose and live a life that they wished to live. Other thoughts were that more beings were walking out of the city and bring home 'strays' from the outside world. Regardless of how it actually happened, the humans had to be taken care of. With so many now flooding the streets, everyone was worried that they would turn around and start telling the rest of the population that they existed. And if that happened, there might be an all out war.

Mayor Saxon had a few ideas riddled off to him. He could have done what he had done to the werewolves and close them up in a different part of the city so they have no chance to escape the city and run back to the rest of the world. Another idea was to have their memories wiped and sent out of the city and the surrounding limits. In the end, a small scouting party had been sent out to view how the human world had changed. Much like their world, it was starting to develop. However, unlike the city, magic was a thing of the part; a cheap trick of the mind and something to make a quick buck off of. A statement had been made publicly to the city: If they leave, and no matter how many people they tell, if they started spouting accusations of a city full of supernatural beings living together, no one would believe them. Most everyone had long forgotten about them being a reality so there was no harm. Many beings did not like this though. While they publicly respected the final word, they secretly would go out of their way to burn down their homes. Many cases of dead humans had been reported while under Saxon's rule as Mayor. While this seemed like it could have grown to be an issue, many extremists would simply say that they did it to stop them from turning into a werewolf.

When the title had shifted to Strider/Moody, he vowed to end the human hatred as a whole. Only 150 years have passed since the switch and while there are significantly less human deaths as a whole, there are still many who believe that the humans are a problem that they wish to rid themselves of. The old Rossi Mafia was a leading group to rid all of humanity that had no magical powers or special use. Rachael Rossi, the former leader, had made campaigns to finally kick them out or turn them over to werewolves and vampires to be turned. While there could be many things said about the infamous woman, at least her thoughts were more 'humane'.

During the Werewolf Rebellion, a demon by the name of Travis Valentine had come to power. He was the one spearheading the rebellion against the laws that had lasted for 150 years. He had gained momentum and formed a mafia that has lasted to this day. Shortly after the change of Mayors, a different demon family had taken their chance to form their own. The Rossi Mafia had disliked how Humans had been able to walk away free after condemning everyone to this city in the first place. The group had been behind a few of those killings as well as spurred a few others to do some of their own. They planned to keep up until either all humans were removed or turned.

As the years passed, four major Mafias had come into power: Valentines, Rossis, Hearts, and Phon.

The Valentines were spearheaded by Travis Valentine, a demon with a werewolf wife. A Man born and breed from a mafia home. His roots had come from the Italian Mafia and the one to take over the family business in the human world. He was honestly a force to be reckoned with and not taken lightly. He had brought most of his family along with him for a better life, though even that was forged through blood. His family had quickly become him core group, allowing his 3 daughters, 2 sons, and a handful of grandkids to manage different important factors of the mafia as a whole.

The Rossis were controlled by Racheal Rossi, though she often used her own husband as the political figurehead to allow her to work from the shadows. A family full of devils, she had big plans to have her eldest daughter, Rhyan, take over for her and continue to rid the city of humanity and weak minded people. Her youngest daughter, Mason, had also been employed to work, yet their only son, Luke, had split from the family to become a personal secretary for the mayor.

The Hearts were a small family of vampires who really only had risen to so high because of their stakes in their food source as well as bad blood between the Rossis. While they didn't control much territory, going after them would likely result in their death. Candie and Daniel Heart had four children who all chose help their parents strive towards a better life as vampires.

The Phons were a group of monstrosities that had risen to mafia status simply by taking over the different gangs around the city. Their leader, Yaoxl Phon, was a hideous beast who attacked first and asked questions later. He simply didn't care too much of the political game that was played as long as he could hurt, kill, and get away.

As the years continued, only Valentines and Rossis remained as the two major mafias. The Hearts partly mixed with the Valentines, partly quietly bowed out and worked on making their race a better place to be. The Hearts had opened up a brothel to allow men and women to work and gather information. After all, people with loose lips liked to sleep around. It also was a glaring spot in the underground that thwarted the Rossis, giving the Valentines a small foot in the door to owning even just a small section without too much hassle. As for the Phons, they had been more or less pushed out of the scene when their leader had been placed under arrest. In fighting occurred with no actual winner. Many say it was better off this way.

The Valentines and the Rossis had focused on different things and created their empires in different location. Valentines had complete control over the upper world, watching goods and businesses flourish and fall. It was even rumored that they had their claws into the political game of the city and even ran what the mayor did and didn't do. As for the Rossis, they dominated the underground, pushing illegal activities like drugs, crime, and trafficking. Many different drugs had been made, but the most dangerous one at the time was Renegade: a peppermint tasting drug that caused demons a feeling of euphoria they could never get before crashing hard. Highly addictive substance that effects users even years after being off of it. Simply smelling peppermint caused them to go into a frenzy to get that high once again.

Decades passed with tensions rising. One of Travis' sons, Trever Valentine, had a hand in causing a lot of issues before his younger brother Kalense had stepped in to become next head of house. A good fighter, Travis was warry to allow his eldest son the title of the next Mafia boss due to his softer nature as well as his history with the Hearts and Rossis. While Trever had married Willow Heart, the heiress to the Heart Brothel, and had many children with her, he had also married a human girl, an elf girl, as well as had a child with Rhyan and another demon. Trever was too much of liability with a grand total of 20 kids running around both in and out of the city.

About 70 years ago, tensions had gotten to an all time high between the two families. The obvious split in the city put everyone on edge. Though the TCPD did their best, war eventually broke out and claimed victims on both sides. It had started with Elaine Valentine. Her body was found in the middle of town, sparking the all out war that hung in the air. It had lasted for 5 years, both Mafias losing important members and family members. In the end, Leo Prince, the Chief of Police, had ended the wars, taking Joshua Rossi and Kalense Valentine to jail. Rachael had fled the city at the time, and Travis had finally succumbed to a broken heart after all these years of his wife being gone. In the end, Kalense Valentine had inherited his family's mafia and Ebony Rossi from her family; pulling what was left of the groups from the ashes that were left. While the states of the two most important families of the city were nowhere near what they were before the war started, things finally started to level out as they focused on the more business end of what their families did rather than returning to full out mafias with the police hot on their trails.

Screen Shots of Histroy throughout Twin City 3FmWts2

About 50 years ago, a great massacre had taken place in the Rossi mansion. Ebony Rossi, her twin brother Ethan, her grandfather Joshua, and everyone loyal to the old Rossi name had been killed over night. A vampire family had been invited into the home and proceeded to eliminate those who were weak in their eyes. No one was spared by the husband and wife and their group. It had shaken up the town to see such a large group coming in and doing this to a family such as that. Even the Valentines had a hard time accepting that this had happened. Saph and Moody Knightly had sat back and watched as the war between the two mafia families took place. While the Valentines recovered much faster, it was the Rossis that were having a hard time finding the right traction. Squabbling was taking place about what was going to happen within the mafia. Some wanted out, some wanted a stronger team. Ebony, while powerful in her own right, had become sick after the years of taking over. Ethan, her less than qualified brother, had taken over some of the responsibilities, helping with this tragic end to the two.

The Knightlys had taken over, but kept the Rossi name as it held a lot of weight behind it. Their plan was to do a full sweep of whatever members were left and fully place their own team in. Once the dust had settled, they became hungry to prove themselves. Small skirmishes happened between Rossi and Valentines, causing in home fighting within the older Mafia family itself. Kalense and his son Adone begun bicker back and forth wondering what to do with the new group that had taken over shortly after everything that had happened. Adone had said they needed to take quick action to correct this while Kalense had said it was better to wait and watch.

The Knightlys had gained more and more power the longer Kalense had stayed in power. Newer drugs and even some of the businesses that the Valentines had control over begun to fall into their hands. Though Kalense wanted to put an end to the fighting, he was not ready to go out on a full war. The death of his family was still fresh in his mind though it all ended a few short decades ago. Adone, however, was tired of his father's laziness and took matters into his own hands.

On Christmas Eve, only 20 years ago, another great massacre had happened. Kalense Valentine had been killed by his own son Adone. With his father's blood fresh in the once beautifully pristine office, Adone had taken the spot once held by his father and grandfather before him, challenging anyone else who dared to get in his way. He had proclaimed that anyone who wasn't strong enough to stay with the family would either find themselves staring at the end of a gun or at the bottom of the ocean. Weakness was not a luxury they could afford. Trever Valentine, one of two sole survivors of Travis' kids, had gone and confronted Adone, only to be met with an almost similar fate. Though his nephew didn't know, the older demon had escaped death and hid at his wife's brothel.

The Knightlys had seen the change in the Valentine line change over night and had gone after the younger demon. However, Adone had been ready for this and came at them with just as much force. While his father did a great job of keeping the businesses running, he was out there gaining loyal members to help him rid of these two vampires. Sadly, for both mafias, this ended in a stalemate with neither gaining even an inch in the direction they wanted.

As it stands, both sides are looking for members who will die for them. The Rossi Mafia looking for loyal grunts to cause havoc and chaos while pushing their agenda while the Valentine Mafia is looking for loyal people to help take over the entire city and then some.
