Halloween Event: Zombie Hunt

The Zombie would shamble toward the gunfire, coming into view. It was a little bigger then the average person. This one can take a few hits.  Spotting your group it seems to let out a loud roar, it's hungry. In two more turns it will be with-in melee damage.

Rune would continue to attack the zombie shambling toward them with her fire, hardly noticing the words that escaped from Salem's lips, too engrossed in the attack to pay too much attention to what he was saying.

"Great job guys, keep it up. We're killin' the crap outta this undead fool!" Letting out a booming playful laughter it would seem this man was enjoying himself. At lest fot the moment. Arden would stop shooting for the moment, narrowing his eyes. Instint told him to check his surroundings.

The rest of the party seemed to be in high spirits pelting this creature with bullets again and again. Salem, being the pessimist that he was, didn't share their enthusiasm. That was just a single zombie they were all firing at, and yet even after all their bullets, combined with Rune's fire, still remained upright and continued to sway towards the group. “Are zombies supposed to be this hardy?” Salem really wasn't sure how to process this info. In most media, zombies went down from one bullet to the head, but this was real life, so it probably didn't unfold like a movie did (as insane as it was to think that, given one of the members of his group just threw a ball of blue flame from her hands). With nothing else for him to do, the only action he could muster was to just keep firing.

However, his gut continued to badger him with thoughts of panic and despair. Why was there only one zombie here? Hardy or no, they had a veritable army among them in the city, so… where were all the other ones?
